Ethical Rejection Scale

Ethical Rejection Scale

Patients we do not accept.

At Mentoring Medic, we believe that cosmetic surgery is a conscious medical decision, not an impulsive response. Therefore, just as we support responsible processes, we also know when to say no.

Not every patient should have surgery. And not every surgery should be performed.

Our institutional rule

Safety prevails over any commercial interest.

Rejecting a case is not losing a client. It is protecting a life.

We are not designed for volume. We are designed for responsibility.

1. BMI outside safe range

We do not accept patients whose Body Mass Index represents a high surgical risk for elective procedures.

Cosmetic surgery is not a shortcut for conditions that first require medical stabilization or metabolic changes.

Life and safety are above the surgical date.

2. Untreated emotional disorders

We do not accept cases when we identify:

  • Severe anxiety disorders without management.
  • Uncontrolled active depression.
  • Body dysmorphia.
  • Expectations linked to external validation or social pressure.
Surgery does not replace a therapeutic process. Emotional stability first. Then the aesthetic decision.

3. Unrealistic expectations

We do not accept patients who:

  • Seek absolute perfection.
  • Desire results identical to irreproducible references.
  • Do not understand the biological limits of surgery.
Medicine improves. It does not create impossible bodies.

4. External pressure

We do not support processes when the decision arises from:

  • Partner pressure.
  • Family pressure.
  • Work conditions.
  • Social influence.
Surgery must be an autonomous decision. If it doesn't come from you, it's not the time.

5. Accumulated surgeries without adequate recovery

We do not accept patients who:

  • Have undergone multiple procedures without adequate recovery times.
  • Seek to intervene again before completing their biological process.
The body needs time. Impatience increases risk.

6. High medical risk

We do not structure processes when there are conditions that significantly increase elective surgical risk without adequate prior management, such as:

  • Uncompensated cardiovascular diseases.
  • Uncontrolled diabetes.
  • Coagulation disorders.
  • Active smoking without adequate cessation.
Cosmetic surgery is elective. It is not a priority over medical stability.

Our institutional stance

Rejecting a case is not losing a client. It is protecting a life.

We prefer to cancel a surgery rather than take an unnecessary risk.

We are not designed for volume. We are designed for responsibility.

If you decide to have surgery with us, it's because you've passed an ethical and medical filter.
That doesn't limit your process. It strengthens it.

Ethics also protect your process

Our filter does not seek to exclude for exclusion's sake. It seeks to confirm that the surgical decision is safe, conscious, and compatible with your medical and emotional reality.
