2. Rules of coexistence

To ensure safety and collective respect, the patient accepts:

Visits

• Visits are regulated and subject to established hours.
• They may be restricted during the first 48 to 72 hours post-operation.
• In case of medical indication, they may be temporarily prohibited.

Prohibition of substances

• Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited within the facilities.
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
• Consumption of psychoactive substances is prohibited.

3. Post-surgical diet

The patient undertakes to:

• Not introduce external food without authorization.

4. Conduct and personal responsibility

5. Emergency management

In case of a situation that poses a risk to the patient's life or integrity, such as:

• Active hemorrhage.
• Loss of consciousness.
• Signs of thrombosis or embolism.
• Sudden deterioration of general condition.

The emergency protocol will be activated immediately.

This protocol includes:

• Immediate contact with the Treating Surgeon.
• Activation of ambulance service.
• Immediate transfer to an authorized hospital institution.

6. Anticipated authorization for transfer

The patient expressly accepts that, in case of an evident medical emergency, transfer to a hospital may be carried out without the need for additional prior authorization, when the waiting time may compromise their life or integrity.

7. Costs derived from emergencies

Expenses derived from:

• Ambulance.
• Hospital care.
• Emergency medical procedures.

Will be assumed according to:

• The contracted policy, if applicable.
• Patient's responsibility.
• The contractual framework with the medical institution.

8. Limitations of the service

The Recovery House:

• Does not perform invasive medical procedures.
• Does not administer medications without medical order.
• Does not replace prolonged hospitalization.

If the patient's medical condition requires continuous hospital management, the corresponding transfer will be made.

9. Final declaration

The Recovery House is a logistical support environment for the post-operative stage.

It is not a hospital. It is not a clinic. It is not a specialized medical unit.

It is a structured space to facilitate responsible recovery under organizational supervision.
